[Friday Flash Review] Keebler Cinnamon Roll Fudge Stripes

Friday Flash Reviews are abridged reviews of new or exciting products for your end-of-week reading.

Today marks yet another chapter in my epic and longstanding feud with the Keebler Elves, in which I complain about them on the Internet and they completely ignore me. When we last checked in, I was close to extending an olive branch before Ernie tweeted something stupid again. But today is a new day, and I’m willing to put all of that behind us because Keebler has created perhaps the greatest peace offering of all.

The aroma that flows from Keebler Limited Batch Cinnamon Roll Fudge Stripes is intoxicating–the cinnamon is the most obvious, but there’s a noticeable sugary, cream cheese-like scent, too. Biting into the cookie, its texture has the same distinctive Fudge Stripe snap, but its flavor is noticeably different. There’s a fantastic cinnamon and brown sugar aspect to the cookie that goes beyond the mere shortbread base of other Fudge Stripes flavors. The frosting provides a sweet, slightly tangy flavor that simulates cinnamon roll icing perfectly. I’ve gotta hand it to the Elves–they nailed this one.

I think this rivalry is finally over. After all, peace tastes pretty delicious.
