Guys, I’ve gotten myself into some financial trouble lately. I’ve been spending a ton of money on plane tickets. The thing is, I haven’t actually gone anywhere. I just buy plane tickets to get through airport security, go to the Cinnabon store in the airport food court, devour a cinnamon roll, and then drive back home.
Random question: do you get frequent flyer miles if you never actually step foot on the plane?
Pillsbury’s new Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Cookies are perfect for people who enjoy baking at home and also don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on plane tickets every week. During the 15 or so minutes that they’re in the oven, the scent of brown sugar and cinnamon radiates from the oven–it really does smell like an actual Cinnabon bakery. The cinnamon lends a natural spice to cut through the sweetness of the cream cheese chips (which are tasty, but don’t exactly scream “cream cheese” to me). The floury, slightly sweet cookie dough mimics cinnamon roll dough really well. Overall, these cookies do a pretty good job of impersonating Cinnabon cinnamon rolls from the airport, and they’re way cheaper, too.
