  2. General Mills finally listened to that intern who said “guys, people will buy literally any cereal if you add marshmallows to it”
  3. I haven’t been this excited to chew hot chocolate since Hot Cocoa Oreos

Hot Cocoa Cocoa Puffs

I’m not sure how this is the first time we’re seeing Cocoa Puffs with Marshmallows, but alas, Hot Cocoa Cocoa Puffs have arrived. Here’s the deal: these are actually just Cocoa Puffs with marshmallows. That might sound obvious, but the “Hot Cocoa” name suggests that there should be some different flavor going on here. As good as the deep chocolate flavor of plain Cocoa Puffs is, that cocoa is so strong that I couldn’t really taste the marshmallows, which renders the whole “Hot Cocoa” thing irrelevant. These are a bit better in milk, if only because the chocolate fades somewhat and allows more of the sweetness to peek through.

Score: 7.5 out of 10

And your winner is: General Mills Banana Nut Cheerios!
